Who said that you can’t brunch on a Tuesday? We are kicking off 2019 at one of our favorite restaurants on Staten Island: Lacey’s Bridge Tavern. Join us on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 from 12-3pm for bottomless brunch and live music from your favorite local band! What’s better than bottomless booze and live music anyway?

30th Anniversary of Working Girl at St. George Theatre 12/6/18

Cinema Connex will kick-off its 2018-2019 season on Thursday, December 6th with "Let the River Run," a 30th anniversary mega-screening of “Working Girl” at the historic St. George Theatre. The much-loved film starring Melanie Griffith, Harrison Ford and Sigourney Weaver tells the story of Tess McGill, a Staten Islander with big ambitions. Local small business partners Electric Hair, Staten Island MakerSpace, ETG Clothing and Richmond Hood Co. will provide themed pop-up stations for guests to partake in fun activities inspired by the movie.
